ELECTRIC EEL
Our trained plumbers are highly experienced in investigating and clearing your blocked drains. We use an electric eel where a metal cable is fed into your sewer and/or stormwater line. This cable rotates to cut root growth, and release the debris that is blocking the line.
HIGH PRESSURE WATER JET CLEANER
High pressure water is sent up the sewer and/or stormwater line, using varied pressure cutting heads, which break down and/or destroys root growth, breaks up sludge and debris, penetrates grease, and flushes out the line leaving it completely clear.
Note: Neither the electric eel or the high pressure water jet cleaner can guarantee to remove root growth permanently due to possible breakages in your pipes. A CCTV camera (drain camera) can be used to determine the exact reason for your blockage which we provide a video copy for your records.
CCTV CAMERA
A CCTV drain camera can be used to locate the source of the problem in sewer / stormwater line. This indicates to both the plumber and the client what further steps are required. The client is provided with a video of the inspection.
The problem is then discussed to ascertain whether excavation is needed or sewer maintenance.
PIPE LOCATOR
Should excavation be required we use a pipe locator alongside the CCTV camera to locate the point of blockage and provide you with alternatives to correct the situation.
It is recommended to have your lines checked and cleaned between 6-12 months to keep tree roots and excess build up of debris to a minimum. .
